The latest comic, Princess Fluttershine, Part 3, can be found here. So what's your reaction to it, people?

Overclocked or not, it's rude.

I mean, I didn't even stare! and already it's sticking it tongue out at me...

ONLY three Seawinds and a Xena?

Man, I'd be holding out for a full week of Seawinds, three Xenas, a Dark Angel and a Kaylee. At the very least.

Hee. I still want the Seawind t-shirt. Wink Especially since I just got back from a LARP.

Er, I've got a question.

Why does Karla feel that Branch needs to learn to roleplay? What is she hoping to gain from it? Is it an attempt to simply increase the number of gamers? Is it a hope that roleplaying will help Branch become a better person? Is it a misguided belief that everyone who likes geeky things must also like roleplaying (a belief I was quite definitely disabused of several years ago)?

I just don't get Karla's motivation at this point. Tom's motivation is Karla. Branch lacks motivation, but also lacks counter-motivation, so is just going with the flow. But, I missed somewhere just why Karla wants Branch to be there more often.

Seconded, essentially verbatim. Why on EARTH isn't Karla driven just as nuts by Branch as Tom is? Why does Karla care at all?

It's almost as if Branch has something on her, and even if it's just pity, I'd feel better about it if there were an explanation. Since she's offering Tom something in return, she's obviously not just attempting to torture him (which had first occurred to me).

If Branch manages to grow at all as a character, I'll be deeply surprised. She's not really the type of personality that can be reached by the influence of other people. I figured that was proven on her first appearance in the comic. She has two modes: deaf-and-spewing and deaf-and-pouting.

im not seeing karla & tom, I'm seeing ferrett & gini cosplaying in the bedroom with ferrett decked out in an enormous faux fur codpiece with a dogcollar around his neck, standing on the bed corner getting ready to jump onto gini who is posing on the bed, dressed up in leather "Yelling come and get your Xena, you bad boy!", while meanwhile the kids are knocking on the door, "Are you guys done yet? I need to take the dog outside and I know you have his collar!"

I know shouldn't relate the comic strip to the in real life people which the strip is based on, but I do it anyway.
